Congress is Not in Session
Congress is currently adjourned for its month long August recess, and will resume proceedings on September 4th.
While the house and senate chambers will be inactive during the break, your senators and representatives will be busy reconnecting with constituents across your state. Many of them will be holding Town Hall style meetings throughout the August recess. Town Hall meetings are a great opportunity for AILA members to ask immigration-related questions and also to let your elected officials know that, even after the last CIR stumbling block, immigration reform is an important issue for you and your community. Watch your email inbox for updates on Town Hall meetings near you.
